The Washington Department of Commerce is returning to Hannover Messe, and we are seeking co-exhibitors, especially in the technology, process digitalization, and energy solutions space. With 6,500 exhibitors and more than 210,000 visitors from 70+ countries, the show is intrinsically connected to market developments. 2018 was the fourth time I’ve gone to Hannover—the biggest industrial process show in the world—as part of the Washington state delegation. The Department of Commerce team for the event provides unique access and support, and with their assistance, we built very profitable multi-year business partnerships in Germany. If you don’t see this show, you won’t understand its importance. I strongly recommend that you take part.

FreePoint could not have participated in Hannover Messe 2019 were it not for the well-orchestrated assistance of Washington State.

Where is the Washington Pavilion located?

The Washington State Pavilion is located in the Digital Ecosystems Hall #16 right next to Amazon AWS. Based on last year’s experiences, the hall where Amazon was located had excellent foot traffic. It was packed daily with attendees from open until close. The Washington pavilion will be in the same cluster along with the US Pavilion. With visitors interested to connect with U.S. companies and eager to do business with Amazon, the Washington Pavilion cannot be at a better location.

Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to showcase your company, products and services to decision-makers from all over the global!

Is my company a good fit to co-exhibit with Commerce?

The Washington State Pavilion primarily features small to medium-sized companies with products and services that have been marketed domestically and the company is ready for export, or wants to expand its export sales. We have added a new feature this year that is specifically designed for start-up companies under three year of operation. We recognize the speed of change due to digitalization and the need to collaborate and discover with others. Whether it is to help companies to futureproof their businesses or to solve untenable challenges such as climate change, we cannot afford to work in silo in a globally connected world.

How much does it cost to exhibit with Washington State?

Commerce has exhibition packages ranging from $1,500 to $5,500 that are tailored to fit different budgets and exhibition requirements. To learn more about the benefits of each sponsorship package, view our available packages (described above). Companies are responsible for covering all travel, lodging and related expenses. Financial support is available through our Small Business Export Voucher grant opportunity. To learn more, see financial support below.

Does my company need to have export experience?

No. Our delegation features companies with a mixture of export experience.

Should my company have products ready to demo/sell?
